What Types of Classes?

Tiny Tot Combo (3-5) Tap, Jazz & Tumbling

Our Tiny Tot Combo is the base of our dance program at Dance Scene. This program is designed to develop basic rythm movement along with locomotor skills.

Jazz/Tap Combo (8-20) Adv. Jazz, Adv. Tap

The Tap and Jazz classes provide a more advanced level of intricate rhythms and incorporate with choreography. Jazz warm-ups increase strength and flexibility. Across the floor movement is implemented to enhance knowledge of different steps and body control.

Ballet/Lyrical (8-Adult)

Ballet and Lyrical teaches basic ballet vocabulary, correct body placement, and working turn-out. Lyrical style is introduced and structured in choreography.

Hip Hop (4-Adult)

All Hip Hop classes are cadio based. Beginning classes introduce style and rhythm. However, advanced classes work on complex movement and staging choreography.

Polynesian (4-Adult) Hula, Tahitian, & Implements

Our polynesian classes learn basic styles of hula and tahitian as well as learning the Poi Ball (from the island of New Zealand). For more advanced dancers they learn more intricate patterns including working with implement and learning about costume designing.

Belly Dance (Teen/Adult)

The Belly Dance learns fun and exciting movement of the middle eastern dance. Advanced level will learn dances including veil and zill work. All dancers have the opportunity to assemble basic costumes.
